I am a post doctoral fellow (since September 2016) working with Colleen Webb (Colorado State University) and Kim Pepin (United States Department of Agriculture) on a collaborative disease ecology modeling project, developing data-driven models of low and high pathogenic avian influenza outbreaks to inform the management of disease in agricultural systems and wildlife populations. This project is a natural extension of my research in theoretical ecology and mathematical biology.
